AI agency near La Défense: AI agents for small businesses that work with large corporate clients

Équipage IA sets up AI agents in small and mid-sized businesses west of Paris, around La Défense and Boulogne-Billancourt, on one specific task: incoming requests, answers to supplier tenders, follow-ups, written prospecting. The agent works inside the tools you already use and prepares the work; a person on your team approves everything that goes to a client. Our registered office is in central Paris, at 47 rue Vivienne, and we come to your office for the two moments where being there matters: the discovery audit and the trial period.

Twenty to thirty minutes. No commitment.

What makes a small business west of Paris different?

Most of the time, its client. The Hauts-de-Seine département, which includes La Défense, counted 178,352 active businesses in 2024, and 68% of its 59,546 employer establishments have between one and nine employees. Yet establishments with 100 employees or more employ 752,650 of the area's 1,179,453 employees, almost two in three (INSEE, French national statistics office, August 2026). Small firms there live next to large groups and, for some of them, on their orders.

Small consulting team in an office west of Paris, office towers in the distance: a consultant reviews on screen a file prepared for a large corporate client.

The business mix tells the same story. Close to three businesses in ten (29.7%) are professional, scientific, technical or administrative services: consulting firms, engineering offices, agencies. One in ten works in information and communication, software publishers and IT service firms included.

For these firms, work arrives in the client's format. A supplier onboarding file to fill in, a tender with its specifications, a security questionnaire, a procurement portal where the proposal must be uploaded, then follow-ups when the purchase order is late. Each file looks a lot like the previous one, and it is usually the founder or a project lead who fills it in at night.

Which task should an agent take first when your clients are large corporations?

The one that repeats from file to file and can be checked quickly. For a supplier to large accounts, it is usually one of these three.

Diagram: a supplier onboarding file arrives, the agent pre-fills answers already approved with their sources, flags new questions, and a person reviews before anything is submitted.
  • Tenders and supplier onboarding files. The agent reuses your approved answers (company overview, references, certificates, service descriptions), pre-fills recurring questions and sets aside the ones that need a decision: a delivery commitment, a contract clause, a security point you have never settled. The same approach works for requests that come in through your website or by email: see the incoming requests and quotes agent.
  • Proposals stuck in procurement. A proposal approved by the business team can wait weeks on the purchasing side. The agent tracks deadlines, drafts the follow-up to the right contact and stops as soon as a reply arrives. See quote follow-up without losing your Fridays.
  • Written prospecting to other departments. Once one department knows you, the agent drafts messages to neighbouring departments, starting from a verifiable observation, and keeps your CRM up to date.

Anything that commits your company stays a human decision: a price, a promised deadline, the answer to a new security question. It is written into the scope before anything is built. And if you answer two tenders a year, a well-organised document template is enough: we will tell you during the audit.

Our clients forbid sending their data to AI tools. Is that a blocker?

Not necessarily, but the question comes before building, not after. A contract with a large corporation may include confidentiality clauses or rules about approved tools. During the discovery audit we look at what your contracts allow; we do not give legal advice, and any doubt is settled with your client or your lawyer.

On the system side, three things are written down before any work starts. Approved sources: a client's data can be excluded from what the agent reads. Hosting: on your premises or on a European server. Access: you enter your own credentials, they are encrypted, never visible to us and revoked at the end of the contract. Details are in four questions to ask before connecting an AI agent to your tools.

How do you compare AI agencies that claim to cover your area?

Check that their page about your town says something it would not say anywhere else. On 15 October 2026 we looked at the top ten results for a French search meaning « AI agency Hauts-de-Seine SME ». Four of them point to the same provider, which publishes one page per town: the same sentence comes back word for word, only the town name and population change. Only one of the ten snippets mentions human oversight.

A copied page does not prove poor work. It just tells you nothing about how the agency will handle your files. Here are the questions we suggest you ask, us included.

The question to askWhy it matters when your clients are large corporationsOur answer
Who approves what goes to our client? One wrong submission can cost you a supplier listingThe agent prepares; a person on your team approves every external send and every upload
Where does our clients' data go?Your contracts often restrict which tools you may useApproved sources in writing, hosting on your premises or in Europe, credentials entered by you and never visible to us
What do you refuse to automate? The answer shows where the agency stopsAn invented price when data is missing, mass sending, cold outreach to private individuals, working around a portal or software with no official access
How will we know it works?A badly filled file shows up at the client's, not at yoursA two-week trial: the agent works without sending anything, and we compare its drafts with what your team actually submitted
Do you come on site?A file is easier to understand at the desk of the person who fills it inYes, anywhere west of Paris, for the discovery audit and the trial period; the rest is remote

How does a project with a small business near La Défense work?

It starts from a real file and ends with a go-live that you decide. A first agent on one role is delivered in two to three weeks, trial period included.

  • Discovery audit: one task, your tools, the decisions that must stay human, and what your client contracts allow. A written opinion, including when it concludes there is nothing to build.
  • Written scope: what the agent does alone, what goes through you, approved sources, and a fixed-price quote you approve before any paid work.
  • Build: read-only access first, rules, answer templates, tests on your past files.
  • Trial, two weeks, with the person who will use the agent.
  • Monthly support, no commitment, one month's notice.

FAQ

Do you have an office near La Défense?

No. Our registered office is in central Paris, at 47 rue Vivienne: it is the address on official registers and in our legal notice. We come to you anywhere in the area for the discovery audit and during the trial period.

Can the agent upload our proposals to our client's procurement portal?

Only if the portal offers official access designed for that. Otherwise the agent prepares the complete file and a person on your team uploads it. We do not work around a portal, even when it is technically possible.

Can it fill in our supplier security questionnaires?

It can prepare them from answers you have already approved, with the source of each answer. Any new question is left blank and flagged, and a person reviews the whole file before it is sent.

We are a 15-person IT services firm. Is this the right fit?

Yes, if a written task comes back often enough to take a regular share of someone's time. What counts is repetition, not headcount. A few files a year do not justify an agent, and we will tell you during the audit rather than after the quote.

Do we need to change our software?

No. The agent works in your current tools: email, CRM, document management, invoicing software. If one of them offers no official access, we tell you during the audit.
